Mastercard Credit Card

Mastercard loans is a global payment system. The location of Mastercard company is headquartered in New York, USA. The system emerged after the conclusion of an agreement between several banks in the United States.

As the company grew, the unincorporated corporation Mastercard International Incorporated was founded. The main task of the corporation is to promote the payment system. Mastercard is the second largest payment system in the world.

Since 2016, the payment system has changed its logo. The new logo was developed by the Pentagram agency. The most significant change is that now the name is written entirely in lowercase letters, the letter “C” is not highlighted and the word “Card” has become less noticeable and readable. This emphasizes the decrease in the importance of cards as a physical medium, because today payments are made without their help. In addition, Mastercard does not admit the cards themselves, but only provides the technology for their use.

In 2017, the company generated operating cash flow of US $ 5.56 billion. Financial report of MC Mastercard for the 4th quarter of 2017 showed that revenues increased 20.2% to $ 3.31 billion and exceeded the consensus forecast of $ 3.26 billion. The rise in the indicator was due to an increase in the number of transactions using payment system cards by 17% to 17.7 billion, while the total volume of payments worldwide grew by 13% to 1.4 trillion US dollars. The volume of cross-border transactions using Mastercard cards increased by 17%. In total, as of the end of December 2017, there were about 2.4 billion cards in circulation under the Mastercard and Maestro brands.

Mastercard provides services to its customers in more than 210 countries and regions of the world.
